CNC Machinist Role Overview
The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
This role involves fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical instruments as well as manufacturing or adjusting components used in machine tools and industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate CNC machines and related equipment according to established procedures ensuring quality and efficiency.
* Perform routine operational tasks to support daily production activities.
* Assist with equipment maintenance and repair by preparing tools, parts, and work areas as required.
* Familiarize yourself with mandatory health, safety, and environmental instructions to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
* Adhere to operational and quality compliance requirements to meet internal standards and external regulatory expectations.
* Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges to guarantee accuracy and precision.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric tolerances to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to facilitate workflow and information exchange.
