Our Team
Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world's most high‐performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.
Your Role
* Design, develop and validate munitions components and systems
* Interpret customer requirements and provide design solutions, translating system requirements into actionable solutions
* Conduct engineering analyses, apply industry standards, and release designs for production and procurement
* Troubleshoot design and production processes based on theory and appropriate simulation tools of metal forming techniques
Your Experience
* Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Industry experience in a similar role following Systems Engineering practices for Systems and Sub‐Systems: Design, Develop & Qualify the Solution
* Design experience with Inventor is a plus, particularly in design and manufacturing environments
* Some experience with the use of metal forming simulation software
* Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills with a data‐driven approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
