Overview
We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise during the **** school year and up to the end of Term 4, ****.
Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Australind Senior High School (SHS) is located north of Bunbury with easy access to the wider Southwest region.
It is the largest Independent Public School in the South West region of Western Australia and has a strong history of outstanding success for students in both ATAR and VET pathways.
The Role
Australind SHS is seeking to appoint energetic and motivated individuals to fill the role of Cleaners and join their friendly team.
Suitable applicants will ideally have good attention to detail, work well individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment, and be organised, reliable and punctual with excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
Cleaners at Australind SHS carry out both internal and external cleaning duties.
Internal cleaning includes the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning of furniture and fittings, windows, toilets and dusting.
External duties include rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, external windows, verandas and covered areas and cobweb removal.
Vacation cleaning may include stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, carpet shampooing, pressure cleaning of undercover areas and verandas, and other duties as directed by the Cleaner-In-Charge.
