About the role
Join Wellness Community Care as a casual Support Worker based in Wyong, NSW. What you'll be doing
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Provide companionship and social engagement to improve clients' wellbeing
* Support clients to access the community and participate in recreational activities
* Advocate for clients' needs and communicate effectively with family members and relevant healthcare providers
* Maintain accurate client records and documentation
* Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
* Experience in aged care, disability support, or a related field
* A genuine passion for supporting the elderly and disabled
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Current First Aid certification
* A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
