As a Sustainability Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering asset renewal and energy-efficiency projects that strengthen our organisation's long-term sustainability.
Job Description
* You will assess ageing mechanical systems and design sustainable replacements to meet operational needs, engineering standards, and environmental goals.
* You will prepare engineering documentation, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates for mechanical system replacement projects.
* You will manage mechanical system replacement projects from planning to commissioning, including procurement, contractor coordination, and risk management.
* You will monitor project progress, report outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in asset sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience delivering mechanical or sustainability-focused projects in healthcare or complex infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of hospital-related engineering and compliance standards is required.
* Project management certification is an advantage.
* Proficiency with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or energy-modelling tools is essential.
