Messaging Expert
Our ideal candidate has highly developed knowledge of Exchange and AD administration. Proficiency in managing on-premise messaging infrastructure is crucial, as well as experience with Message Transfer Agents. An expert in Microsoft Skype administration is required to ensure seamless communication across the organization. The Messaging Technician will also be responsible for analysing, logging, tracking, and resolving complex issues pertaining to messaging.
A critical aspect of this role is the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides, and related artefacts. This includes creating comprehensive guides and peer reviewing them to ensure accuracy and completeness. Experience with XMPP chat tools and Lotus Domino products is also essential, as well as a working knowledge of VoIP trunking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support on-premise messaging infrastructure.
* Perform proactive maintenance, patching, and upgrading of distributed enterprise systems.
* Develop and maintain defect remediation plans.
* Analyse, log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to messaging.
* Create and peer review SOPs, build guides, and related artefacts.
Required Skills:
* Highly developed knowledge of Exchange and AD administration.

* Carry phone and be on an on-call roster.
