The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Duty Managers to oversee the day-to-day operations of the newly renovated Katherine Aquatic Centre. As the Duty Manager, you will ensure safety, cleanliness, and excellent service for all pool users, while also leading a local team. You'll be responsible for facilitating the continued success of these essential community resources.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of pool in collaboration with local teams.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including pool maintenance and water quality.
Provide leadership and training to local staff, helping them develop skills in customer service and pool management.
Engage with the community to promote water safety education and health programs.
Handle customer service inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
Monitor pool facilities and equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance as necessary.
Be the point of contact for emergency situations and escalated concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in pool management, hospitality, or a related field.
Knowledge of pool maintenance, water quality standards, and health and safety protocols.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willing to obtain)
