Overview
We are a pastry shop in Ringwood North with a focus on offering quality artisan pastries, pies and cakes. We’re seeking a full time and/or part time pastry chef/baker to join our team.
The Job
- Manage and assist in the production of pies, pasties, quiches and sausage rolls
- Dough preparation & mixing
- Follow trends in the baking industry and develop recent products and recipes
- Stock control/ordering of stock
- Ensuring kitchen hygiene and practices
The Requirements
- Creative and attention to detail
- Proven minimum 2 year experience
- Experienced in large production of pies is preferred
- Able to plan, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Be familiar with bakery equipment
- Friendly and can work as part of a team
- Good english and communication skills
- Own transport necessary for early starts
