About the Role
We're seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our in-store team on a permanent part-time basis (approximately 40–50 hours per fortnight).
You'll play a key role in helping customers with pool products, water testing, and advice, while keeping the shop looking great and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers in-store with pool products and equipment
* Perform water testing and provide treatment advice (training provided)
* Handle sales transactions and maintain stock displays
* Support customers with product knowledge and general enquiries
* Keep the store clean, organised, and well presented
* Assist the broader team with customer service and light warehouse duties

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Friendly, approachable, and enjoys helping people
* Experienced in retail or customer service (pool industry experience highly regarded but not essential)
* Confident learning about pool products and water chemistry
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
* Available to work Saturdays (rostered within a 40–50 hour fortnight)
* Physically capable of some lifting (e.g. salt or chemical bags up to 20kg)
* Well-presented with great communication and attention to detail
