Retail Leadership Opportunity
As a retail supervisor, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing daily activities to maintain efficient service.
* Providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
* Creating weekly schedules and assigning tasks based on business demands.
* Training new team members and monitoring their performance.
* Guiding staff on complex transactions and store procedures.
* Maintaining inventory levels, ordering stock, and conducting stock takes.
* E nsuring products are accurately priced, labeled, and presented in accordance with our store standards.
* Maintaining high food safety practices, hygiene routines, and overall store cleanliness.
* Managing point-of-sale operations, cash handling, and end-of-day reports.
* Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries, product quality, and pricing discussions.
* Supporting staff, addressing workplace concerns, and contributing to a positive team environment.
* Reviewing sales results and assisting with basic store planning or promotional strategies.
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in retail, business, or hospitality, or equivalent experience.
* Previous supervisory experience in retail or food environments.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Able to use point-of-sale systems and basic computer programs.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Understanding of food safety, WHS procedures, and retail compliance requirements.
