Reporting to the General Manager – Contract Support, the Assurance Manager will lead a small team of risk, quality, and compliance specialists. The role involves providing pragmatic advice on complex risk and compliance issues aligned with client objectives and policies, and supporting the business in meeting Serco ASPAC Divisional risk and assurance requirements.
The position also oversees governance and assurance for the Fiona Stanley Hospital contract, including:
* Managing the full risk cycle from identification to closure of action plans
* Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, standards, and policies
* Maintaining ISO accreditations
Your responsibilities include delivering:
* Governance, Risk, and Assurance activities (including reporting)
* Quality Management (including ISO certification requirements)
* Quality and Compliance

To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk management
* Experience in internal auditing and reviewing control frameworks
* Knowledge of Quality Management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 31000, especially in healthcare
* Understanding of NSQHSS and Business Continuity Planning
* Strong knowledge of facilities management contract management
* Leadership experience
