Zeal Futures is opening a brand-new independent secondary school in 2026 for years 9 and 10, to foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. This role will deliver engaging, individualised learning programs aligned with student needs, along with:
* Fostering a positive, supportive environment that promotes confidence, resilience and growth.
* Planning, designing and delivering flexible, differentiated learning programs that respond to individual student needs and actively engages students in their own learning according to NESA requirements.
* Providing timely and specific feedback to students to support their learning growth.
* Using data and assessment outcomes to inform your teaching practice, monitor student progress, and contribute to the development of innovative practices and school culture.
* Building and maintaining positive, trusted, and professional relationships through collaboration with students, families, our Zeal Futures team, and external agencies.
* Maintain accurate records, reporting and communication with students and families.
* Participating in school events, professional development opportunities and other extracurricular activities.

What you'll bring to the table
* Relevant qualifications and registration (e.g., NESA accreditation for teachers).
* Experience working with students with diverse needs.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, start-up environment.
* Possess a minimum of five years' teaching experience.
* Working with Children Check.
