What's The Role:
We're seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs.
Shifts Available
* Monday to Friday - 10:00am start
* Monday - 6:00am start; Tuesday to Friday - 10:00am start
Lindsay Transport is Australia's largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. We're part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Safe Always - Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
* Temperature Sensitive Freight - working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
* Freight Handling - Loading and unloading vehicles; moving freight to and from storage areas; Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution.
* Load Management & Accuracy - Load trucks in accordance with the load sheet
* Equipment Operation - Stabilisation equipment is used as required.
What You'll Bring:
* Have a valid & current forklift licence and experience in this class
* Have warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking experience
* Have experience loading and unloading trucks
* Have refrigeration experience (preferred)
* Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills
* Be able to adhere to transport documentation
