To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will aim to increase our availability footprint by building our customer base and expanding our portfolio. This role will be responsible for growing our customer count in new & existing Away from Home (AFH) channels within VIC & TAS.
Responsibilities
- Drive channel expansion through new business acquisition in all AFH channels across VIC & TAS, with a specific focus on metropolitan Melbourne.
- Identify incremental opportunities within existing and new "white space" channels.
- Cold call prospective customers.
- Work outside normal business hours on a regular basis.
- Create commercial proposals for acquiring new customers.
- Contribute to driving incremental state sales and growing the PepsiCo portfolio.
- Collaborate with National and State Sales teams to identify and develop new opportunities.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project execution aligns with timelines.
- Present campaign results and recommendations to managers and senior leaders.
- Track success metrics through scorecards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for commercialisation and execution of new opportunities.
- Develop and implement individual new business plans for specific geographical areas.
- Demonstrate strong planning and time management skills.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience with a record of signing new customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong planning and time management skills.
- Curious and inquisitive mindset.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Project management skills are advantageous.
