* Clerk Grade 9/10 Salary ($129,464 - $142,665 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role
Your role is to provide a broad range of regional business activities to contribute to the strategic direction and development of the services provided within the Region, undertaking research, providing detailed information, analysis and advice to the Director, and manage a team who provide diverse services to both the division and Indigenous communities.
What you'll do
* Contribute to the continuous quality improvement and quality assurance of services within the Region by undertaking specific projects and assignments on behalf of the division.
* Undertake quantitative and qualitative research and reporting, including collection, collation, and data analysis activities, monitor, and identify trends, contentious issues, and compliance with policies and procedures.
* Coordinate the preparation of reports, briefings, ministerial correspondence and submissions on sensitive and complex issues across all aspects of the Region.
* Provide advice and recommendations on varying issues relating to the Region's business and performance, contributing to and overseeing the implementation Youth Justice strategies and plans.
* Determine and prioritise the unit's business activities, prepare and monitor the region's annual budget, expenditure and projections, providing advice on financial performance, ensuring budgetary reporting requirements are within specified formats and time frames.
* Monitor and evaluate the effective and efficient utilisation of the division's resources and provide the Director and managers with analysis and recommendations in relation to resource management, including property and asset management and motor vehicle utilisation.
* Assist the Director and Managers to facilitate effective people management activities, including staff development, recruitment, retention, performance, resolving complaints and grievances, WH&S activities and workforce planning and reporting activities.
* Develop audit tools to ensure ongoing compliance and contribute to special investigations and audits on behalf of the division, gathering information and reporting findings and recommendations to the Regional Director.
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in management, finance or related field or equivalent relevant experience
* Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance
Appointments are subject to reference checks. Some roles may also require the following checks/ clearances:
