We are seeking a Service Advisor / Foreman to join a fast-paced, high-performing team in a busy truck and trailer repair workshop south of the river.This is a hands-on role that will suit someone with a strong mechanical background – ideally with Heavy Diesel (HV) or Light Vehicle (LV) repair qualifications – who is ready to step into a leadership and customer-facing position.About The RoleYou will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day workshop operations, liaising with customers, providing service advice, and ensuring high standards of repair and maintenance.
The role is integral to the smooth running of the workshop and requires someone confident in managing workloads and communicating effectively with both technicians and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and service bookingsManage workflow and job allocation across the workshopProvide technical support and guidance to workshop techniciansEnsure all work is completed efficiently and to high standardsMaintain service records and job documentationAssist with parts ordering and workshop administration as requiredIdeal Candidate:Trade qualified in Heavy Diesel (preferred) or Light VehiclePrevious experience in a workshop leadership, foreman, or service advisory roleStrong diagnostic and mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailersExcellent communication and organisational skillsComfortable working in a high-pressure retail environmentTeam player with a proactive and hands-on approachWhat's on Offer:Permanent full-time positionAttractive salary of $100–110K + super38-hour week with an early finish every FridayWork with a respected, established business in a supportive team environmentReady to take the next step in your career?
