Betta Facilities Management is a Port Macquarie–based facilities management business looking for a reliable, well-presented team member to join our small crew (7 staff). We look after 40+ buildings across the Port Macquarie region. This role is replacing a long-term employee who is retiring.
This is a permanent part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week to start), with opportunity for more hours for the right person (if wanted).
Hours of work
* Monday & Friday: 5:00am – 1:00pm
* Wednesday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Most of the time you'll be paired up with another employee.
Duties include
* General maintenance & small fixes (e.g. replacing lights, exhaust fans, tap washers, minor repairs)
* Garden maintenance and weed removal
* Putting bins out, bringing bins back and washing bins
* Sweeping and blowing hard surfaces
* Removing cobwebs
* Cleaning glass windows/doors
* Mopping floors
* Cleaning and restocking bathrooms
What we're looking for
* Current driver's licence
* Reliable, punctual and comfortable with early starts
* Handy and confident with basic tools and small repairs
* Well presented and polite with tenants/clients
* Works well in a team and follows direction
* Physically fit for active work (outdoor work, bending, lifting)
