Job Description
As a senior radiographer, you will be responsible for providing expert imaging services for endomyocardial biopsies, coronary angiograms, TAVI's, Mitraclip's, and pacemaker procedures using x-ray angiography, IVUS, and OCT.
Additionally, you will closely monitor patient haemodynamics during complex interventional procedures and promote a culture of safety to protect both patients and staff from ionising radiation.
You will also work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, anaesthetists, nurses, and product representatives in complex cardiology procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology or cardiology, haemodynamic monitoring, and radiation safety.
A bachelor's degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent is required, along with current AHPRA registration and a valid NSW EPA Radiation Licence.
