An enterprise organisation is undergoing a major digital transformation, shifting from on-premise Microsoft technologies to modern cloud-based solutions.
With legacy systems reaching end-of-life, the team is focused on delivering future-ready platforms rather than day-to-day support (handled by service desk/field services).
This role sits within the Architecture function and is a replacement role with a strong focus on solution design, implementation, and Microsoft migration expertise.
Responsibilities
This role will play a key part in driving the change, working on projects such as:
Migrating mailboxes to Exchange Online
Rolling out Windows 11
Transitioning group policy management to Intune
Administering SharePoint Online and Teams
SharePoint online administration
PowerShell Scripting Knowledge
Top Skills – Essential
Strong technical proficiency in configuring and administering modern workplace technologies, with a focus on user experience, security, and compliance.
Expertise in advanced security configurations, identity management, and data protection strategies.
Proven experience designing and implementing end-user device management solutions (provisioning, app deployment, policy enforcement).
Proven experience with migration projects
Advanced knowledge of automation tools and scripting for effective device management.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.
Desirable
Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (or equivalent).
Experience working within MSP environments, with an understanding of sector-specific challenges.
