We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and has the skills and experience required to provide high-quality support to individuals with varying needs and abilities.
As a key member of our onsite shared support model, you will work closely with a small staffing team to deliver person-centred care and support. Your primary responsibility will be to provide pre-planned and on-call assistance to ensure residents are comfortable and safe in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to tenants with varying needs and abilities
* Work collaboratively with the staffing team to deliver high-quality care and support
* Assist with daily living tasks, such as medication management and meal preparation
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, families, and other stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV in Disability Studies or equivalent qualification
* A current First Aid Certificate with up-to-date CPR
* A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
* A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
* Full vaccination against COVID-19
