Job Title: Voluntary Board Director
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as a voluntary board director. The Tech Policy Design Institute (TPDi) is a non-profit organization that aims to shape the future of technology policy.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in working in a technology-related field, have good familiarity with issues emerging from the development and use of emerging technologies, and have a proven track record of serving on boards or in executive roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in working in a field that engages deeply with technology across business, government, academia or civil society – its opportunities and its issues.
Good familiarity with issues emerging from the development and use of emerging technologies.
Experience serving on boards or in executive roles – especially in the not-for-profit sector, either in think tanks, educational institutions, or public policy-related organisations.
Experience working in roles related to strategic leadership, corporate or not-for-profit governance would also be beneficial.
