Wonil Hotel Perth offers a range of 66 spacious, contemporary apartment‐style hotel rooms and West Kitchen & Bar, an 80‐seater restaurant with a Western Australian food and wine focus, along with an outdoor terrace designed to host unique events for up to 100 guests.
Purpose
As Building Maintenance Manager, your role is essential to keeping our Maintenance Team and property facilities operating smoothly. You will lead the team, manage resources effectively, and use your expertise to ensure we not only hit peak performance and safety standards daily but also prioritise preventative maintenance to keep things running smoothly in the long run.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with the General Manager and support the Body Corporate in ensuring that the Property is kept in the best possible physical condition.
- Implement a service‐centric strategy for overseeing guest needs while executing scheduled maintenance.
- Ensure clear and efficient communication at all levels, from the General Manager to guests and on‐site contractors.
- Foster close collaboration with all departments to effectively address and resolve issues as they arise.
Skills and Experience
- A dynamic leader with a background in maintenance or engineering, within the realm of strata/MLR operations.
- Possesses strong administrative and computer proficiencies alongside outstanding abilities in stakeholder management and negotiation.
- Confident in comprehensive financial understanding of managing a profitable operation, and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance.
- Ability to perform emergency maintenance tasks beyond regular working hours, including situations such as complete power outages, fire system evacuations, and mechanical system failures.
