The school collaborates with parents and community organizations, serving students from various suburbs and beyond.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect and undertake repairs and maintenance to school buildings and grounds.Address health and safety risks promptly.Oversee repairs by outside contractors.Maintain cleanliness of toilets and wet areas during school hours.Inspect and secure premises each morning, report unusual activity.Manage minor purchasing, stores, mail, and courier services.Assist with school events such as excursions and sports days.Selection CriteriaEssential:Ability to maintain confidentiality.Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, work independently.Effective communication skills with staff, students, and contractors.Building and handyman experience with high standards.Experience in gardens/grounds maintenance.Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices.Current NT driver’s license and Working with Children Clearance (OCHRE Card).
