Technical Field Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Field Service Representative to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced detection and screening technology.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical or electronics engineering, with experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

">

Your primary responsibilities will include:

">
* Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, and IT systems, utilizing comprehensive product training provided.
">
* Professionally communicating with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, providing timely and professional responses.
">
* Performing preventative maintenance tasks in line with service contracts and schedules.
">
* Testing components and circuitry using tools such as multimeters, laptops, and built-in software diagnostics.
">
* Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronics-related equipment faults involving low voltage (24 volts or less).
">
* Replacing mechanical components such as belts, rollers, and motors, including maneuvering heavy parts with lifting aids.
">
* Completing service-related documentation, reports, and compliance training.
">
* Staying updated through technical, safety, and job-specific training, both online and in-person.
">

About You

">

We're looking for candidates who possess:

">
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Electronics (preferred).
">
* 0–3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems.
">
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
">
* Exceptional customer focus, communication, and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
">
* Knowledge of IT networking and IT administration fundamentals (highly desirable).
">
