Where you'll be working
This role is based in a redeveloped 348‐bed referral hospital, serving as the principal medical hub for the region. As a specialist here, you will operate within a modern Emergency Department featuring dedicated zones for resuscitation, acute care, and fast track presentations. The facility is supported by on‐site surgical and medical teams, 24‐hour diagnostic services, and a locally based helicopter retrieval service, with technical resources required for complex trauma and critical care. You will join a cohesive team of skilled doctors and experienced emergency nurses who prioritise a culture of training and peer support, allowing for meaningful clinical interactions even during busy periods.

Salary
Base salary starts from $197,583 to $266,942 per annum, plus 12% superannuation and a 25% emergency physician allowance. You will also receive up to $11,660 in salary packaging and a $40,400 annual TESL entitlement for professional development. The estimated total package can range from approximately $285,000 to $548,432+ per annum depending on seniority and award entitlements.
Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent.
