Reporting to the GM Finance and working closely with the CFO, this is the perfect role for a natural process improver who is looking to make their mark in a listed environment as they build their career towards CFO in the future.About the Role:Driving core FP&A process for the business, this position is responsible for a range of commercial finance activities, supporting a broad stakeholder group to achieve their goals, as well as the ELT and Board.
Key duties include:-Delivery of end-to-end Budget processes for each business and for functional units, including Board deliverablesResponsible for the provision of accurate and timely monthly results and analysis to the CFODelivery of Finance Board Reports and other Executive papersOversee and refine the monthly reforecast processProvide contemporary finance business partnering to Executives including initiatives to improve cost controlInterpret business performance on a monthly basis, and providing insights to key stakeholdersManage and mentor a team with a focus on continual process improvement, including uplifting the quality of Board and Executive reportingEnhance the quality of a range of reports provided to the business to enable effective decision makingHelp drive simpler a month end, providing a greater focus on forward looking processesProvide input into the half-year and year-end investor presentationsAbout You:A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA), you are ideally classically trained within a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm, with subsequent experience in a similar role in industryExperience with multi-site and/or ASX listed organisations is advantageous, as is prior exposure to the aged care sectorYou bring a high level of drive, motivation, resilience, and initiativeEffective organisation and time management skills are a must, and you have excellent oral and written communication skills including an ability to hold or test a position or alternative point of viewYou have high standards, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding resultsStrong problem-solving skills as well as excellent financial and commercial acumen are keyA natural leader and mentor, you have a track record of building highly effective finance teams and developing emerging talentPlease click 'Apply' to submit your resume online or call Gavin McDonald on 0405 287133 for a confidential discussion.
