About the Role
This role is responsible for the leadership of engineering projects to meet safety, GMP, Good Engineering Practice (GEP) and financial efficiencies.
Responsibilities
* Project management of assigned projects throughout the lifecycle of the project.
* Project scoping and stakeholder engagement.
* Oversee installation and commissioning activities.
* Providing technical support to maintenance and operations as required.
* Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality, compliance and efficiency.
About You
* Project management experience ideally in FMCG industries.
* Knowledge of packing systems, packaging, line layouts, process flows, P&IDs, building expansions, etc.
* Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Solid Edge, etc.
* Understanding of plant services including compressed air and pneumatics.
* Ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
* Contractor management.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and provide technical support.
Experience
* Proven experience in managing projects, cost management and balancing multiple priorities.
* Experience in FMCG or production environment preferred.
* Familiarity with Australian Engineering standards.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
