Role Description
At Hurley Hotel Group, our reservations supervisor plays a critical role in delivering seamless guest experiences across our accommodation hotels. As Reservations Supervisor, you'll support some of South Australia's strongest performing hotels, including the Arkaba Hotel, Marion Hotel, and the exciting opening of the Hotel Panorama.
This role offers a rare opportunity to be hands‐on in launching a new hotel, supporting systems, processes and staff training, while also working with established, high‐performing properties. You'll be the trusted support behind our Front Office and Accommodation teams — detail‐driven, proactive and relied upon to help everything run smoothly from day one.
What you'll do
* Oversee daily reservation activity, ensuring accuracy across rates, notes, availability and booking details
* Manage reservations enquiries for the properties via email and phone
* Monitor no‐shows, oversells and availability to support effective revenue management
* Coordinate and respond to group accommodation enquiries, preparing quotes and agreements
* Manage corporate contracts and support Front Office Managers with reservation‐related issues
* Assist with the setup and maintenance of packages, promotions and online listings
* Compile regular reservation and group reports to support operational decision‐making
* Provide operational and administrative support during periods of leave within the accommodation team
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Reservations processes and systems
* Exceptional Communication skills, including verbal and written proficiency
* Strong Customer Service capabilities and a proven ability to enhance Customer Satisfaction
* Experience in Training and coaching team members to improve performance
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Prior experience in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
* Proficiency in reservation or property management software is a plus
What you'll bring
Must‐have
* Previous experience in hotel reception and/or reservations
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
* Clear, professional communication skills and a customer‐focused approach
* Experience using reservation systems such as Opera and/or RMS
* Exposure to group bookings, corporate contracts or revenue support activities
* A proactive mindset — comfortable speaking up when something doesn't look right
