Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing technical direction and oversight for maintenance activities. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of mining legislation, standards and statutory compliance requirements.
About the Role
You will provide technical direction and oversight for maintenance activities. Delivering Total Asset Strategies utilising work management processes for optimizing asset performance with a holistic business approach at the forefront. You will assist with planning, scheduling and resource loading to meet asset management objectives, focusing on continuous improvements, which adhere to compliance, regulatory, statutory and legislative requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities Include :
* Delivery of weekly schedules through SAP for maintenance execution departments
* Procurement of resources, parts and materials, ensuring availability for all scheduled work
* Championing Maintenance Work Management process and mentoring team members
* Supporting supervisors and management team to achieve KPI targets
* Custodian of SAP ensuring all maintenance records are retained as per standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Understanding of mining legislation, standards and statutory compliance requirements
* Planning and scheduling experience with SAP or similar CMMS
* Exposure to large mining or manufacturing environments
* Intermediate level of Microsoft office suite; Project, Excel, Word
* Ability to demonstrate a high standard and commitment to a safe work culture
