Transition Manager
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transition or project management. The Transition Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of services by acting as a conduit between stakeholders, overseeing documentation and governance to facilitate a seamless transition into service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end transition of system platforms, ensuring project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and senior leadership to align transition objectives and drive stakeholder buy-in.
* Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications during transitions, facilitating workshops, status meetings, and feedback loops.
* Identify and manage risks related to service continuity, developing mitigation strategies communicated clearly to all relevant parties.
* Maintain detailed records of transition activities and provide regular updates to stakeholders through dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.
Key Working Conditions:
This role requires Australian citizenship and is based in Canberra, ACT.
Requirements for Success:
* 10+ years of experience in transition or project management roles, demonstrating proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
* A strong understanding of data centre/system transition and a proven track record in managing complex transition or transformation projects.
* Proven project governance skills, exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
