Accelerate Resources is an ASX-listed exploration company advancing a growing portfolio of gold and manganese projects across Western Australia. We are seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to help the Exploration Manager lead exploration across the Company's Gold and Manganese projects in the Eastern Goldfields and the Pilbara.
About the Role
Reporting to the Exploration Manager, this is a key technical and leadership role responsible for planning, supervising and delivering campaign-based exploration programs from a Perth base. The role combines senior geological input with practical field leadership, including drill program execution, geological interpretation, target generation, contractor supervision, statutory compliance, budget control and mentoring of field personnel.
Key Responsibilities
* Help lead exploration across the Company's Gold and Manganese projects in the Eastern Goldfields and Pilbara
* Plan, manage and review AC, RC and diamond drilling programs, including budgets, logistics and contractor performanceUndertake and supervise mapping, sampling, logging, field traverses and other campaign-based exploration activities
* Interpret geological, geophysical and geochemical data to generate, rank and refine drill targets
* Maintain strong QAQC, sample integrity, data quality and reporting standards
* Support statutory approvals, tenement compliance, heritage clearances and environmental obligations
* Mentor and supervise project geologists, exploration geologists, field assistants and junior staff
* Work closely with the Exploration Manager to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality exploration outcomes
About You
* Bachelor of Science in Geology, Earth Science or a related discipline
* 7+ years of relevant exploration experience, ideally with strong gold exploration exposure. Manganese or Iron Ore would also be advantageous.
* Practical experience supervising drilling and managing field-based exploration programs
* Strong skills in geological interpretation, target generation, logging, sampling and technical reporting
* Working knowledge of WA mining, environmental and statutory approval processes
* Demonstrated leadership in safety, contractor management and team supervision
* Current manual WA/Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly to site
* Schedule 26 certification, or the ability to obtain it, would be highly regarded
