Job Title:
Support Care Assistant
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those recovering from injuries. As a Support Care Assistant, you will provide indispensable care and support to enable clients to regain independence and live comfortably in their own homes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver personal care services such as bathing, dressing, or assistance with mobility
* Offer companionship and social support by accompanying clients to appointments or engaging them in recreational activities
* Assist with capacity-building initiatives to enhance clients' independence
* Provide domestic support with meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning
Essential Qualifications and Requirements:
* A current Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
* A valid National Police Check (less than one year old if not an NDIS Worker Screening Check)
* A Driver's License and comprehensive vehicle insurance
* Certificate of First Aid and CPR
