The Role
We are seeking a Mid‐Level Electrical Engineer with 4‐8 years of experience to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideal for an engineer with a background in either site or consultancy work, looking to advance their career and work on diverse projects. Experience with controls systems is advantageous. Occasional site travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality electrical designs across a variety of project.
* Work collaboratively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to support concept development, detailed design, and project delivery.
* Develop design packages, specifications, calculations, and drawings that meet industry standards and project scope.
* Support project management activities, including task planning, progress tracking, resourcing, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and quality processes.
* Engage directly with clients, contributing to design meetings, technical discussions, and problem‐solving to ensure positive project outcomes.
* Undertake occasional site visits for inspections, data gathering, design validation, and commissioning support.
Skills And Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 4‐8 years of experience in electrical engineering.
* Previous detailed design experience is essential.
* Experience with electrical control systems is a plus.
* Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
* Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
* RPEQ or working towards registration.
* Willingness to undertake occasional site travel.
