We are seeking a
Mid-Level Electrical Engineer
with
4-8 years of experience
focused on the
mining and resources
sector to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideal for an engineer with a background in either site or consultancy work, looking to advance their career and work on diverse projects. Experience with controls systems is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop electrical systems for various projects.
* Assist in the implementation and optimisation of electrical control systems.
* Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
* Manage project tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
* Support project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Travel to project sites as required.
Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 4-8 years of experience in electrical engineering in the mining and resources sector.
* Previous experience on site or in a consultancy is desirable.
* Experience with electrical control systems is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
* Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
* RPEQ or working towards registration.
* Willingness to undertake occasional site travel.
