What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring orders are received, dispatched and delivered safely and on time. Tasks are varied and will include:
1. Performing general administrative tasks including, stock control, dispatch, and delivery of goods
2. Unloading stock from trucks
3. Operation of forklift
4. Check and receive stock in and out of store
5. Delivering goods/orders to customers
6. Maintain the presentation of the branch and keep shelves full of product for display and sale
7. Be proactive in keeping site clean and safe
8. After a qualifying/training period - processing counter sales through POS
9. Maintaining safety processes
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role it will be helpful, (but not essential), that you have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
10. A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
11. Forklift licence and HR licence are essential
12. Excellent attention to detail
13. Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
14. Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve issues promptly
