Nursing Leadership Role
The Deputy Director of Nursing Specialist Services is a strategic leadership position responsible for the overall coordination and management of nursing services to meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Contributes to and promotes the development of hospital goals, objectives, policies, and standards.
* Provides clinical leadership to establish and maintain the highest standards of nursing practice in a patient-centered environment.
* Develops, implements, and evaluates quality programs and ensures nursing care is monitored against best practice standards.
* Oversees and assists in preparing operational plans and budgets for the nursing directorate.
* Investigates performance variances and develops corrective strategies.
* Leads caregivers in building a culture of professionalism, accountability, and quality service.
* Promotes continuing professional development of nursing staff and others within the directorate.
This role requires strong leadership skills, high-level conceptual and analytical abilities, and advanced oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
* Current registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory agency as a Registered Nurse.
* Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Management, or a relevant discipline.
* Senior management experience in a healthcare facility.
