About the Opportunity We are currently working with multiple clients across Queensland who are seeking experienced and driven Civil Construction Managers to join their growing teams. With strong pipelines of infrastructure, subdivision, and roadwork projects, these companies offer long-term opportunities for experienced construction managers looking to make an impact across regional and metropolitan Queensland. The Role As a Civil Construction Manager, you’ll take ownership of project delivery across a variety of civil infrastructure works — from subdivisions and road upgrades to bulk earthworks, drainage, and utilities. You’ll manage teams, oversee contractors, and ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of civil projects from planning through to delivery and handover. Supervise site operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Coordinate project schedules, budgets, procurement, and reporting. Lead and mentor site teams, supervisors, and engineers. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies. Skills and Experience Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in civil construction, with at least 3 years in a management role. Proven experience delivering subdivision, roadworks, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of Queensland construction standards and WHS legislation. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
