Your Impact
As the Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for developing and managing the quality systems and culture within the manufacturing business unit. This is an opportunity to drive the quality and food safety agenda through the monitoring of the inputs and outputs within the manufacturing process and ensure process capability and conformance to national specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching and training and auditing of operating staff in the level 1 team including standard checking and some calibration of equipment
Analysing quality information in support of level 2 team
Auditing QC systems and benchmarking quality performance
Some calibration work and auditing calibration methods
QA/QC systems work including custodianship of packaging laboratory standards.
Manage the Supplier Non Conformance Reporting system and drive continuous improvement with the raw material suppliers
Investigates, reports, and implements corrective actions for consumer and customer complaints.
Manages QC Hold program for business unit.
Drives SPC to develop process capability with business unit and acts on deviations.
Monitors check sheet, sanitation compliance and CCP deviation and takes action when necessary
About You
Hold a diploma level qualifications in Quality Assurance or equivalent discipline
Between 2 to 3 years' experience in quality assurance roles
Exposure to SPC or similar process quality capability/methodology
Exposure to project/change management
Experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing.
