Join our high‐performing Brisbane team in a full‐time, permanent opportunity as a Senior Legal Assistant within our Medical Negligence practice. This role is ideal for an experienced Legal Assistant ready to step into a senior position, taking on greater responsibility while supporting complex and meaningful matters in a respected national firm.
Responsibilities
* Champion client outcomes and demonstrate empathy when working with individuals navigating challenging medical circumstances.
* Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior legal support staff.
* Deliver professional, responsive, and compassionate service to clients and stakeholders.
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting lawyers and colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Proactively manage workflows, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
* Drive continuous improvement in processes and team capability.
Qualifications / Experience
* Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally at a senior level.
* Medical Negligence or Personal Injury experience is essential.
* Drafting correspondence to clients, medical providers, and third parties.
* Preparing court documents and assisting with litigation processes.
* Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and understand their individual circumstances.
