The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, be a well-regarded expert in cadastral surveying, and have experience in boundary/cadastral surveys, AutoCAD/BricsCAD & Magnet Office, and construction plans and documents.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing elements of the Survey Team operations, including training, systems & processes, quality, quoting, and compliance.
* Management of survey budgets, forecasting, and revenue targets.
* Developing relationships with clients and business development when needed.
* Liaising with clients and/or their contractor in respect of their needs by phone, email or face-to-face.
* Ensuring consistent workflow for field staff.
* Office calculations and data reduction.
* Learning and implementing new concepts and technology within the survey sector.
* Work with and provide instructions to technical staff.
* Capture, edit and provide survey data to high standards.
Requirements
* Must be a Registered Land Surveyor with BOSSI NSW.
* A completed Degree in Surveying.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience surveying in Australia.
* Extensive experience in cadastral/boundary surveys.
* A willingness to adopt technologies and contribute to improving efficiency of processes.
* Competent knowledge of AutoCAD/BricsCAD & Magnet Office.
* Experience in the interpretation of engineering and construction plans and documents.
* An understanding of the construction process and the ability to interpret architectural drawings.
* Competent knowledge of modern surveying equipment and techniques.
* Ability to manage a significant workload.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A good level of self-organisational skills.
* Valid White Card.
* Be able to adhere to the company's integrated Management System procedures and company policies.
