Clinical Psychologist Registrar / Clinical Psychologist

Salary: HSO Grade 1 $106,410 - $115,058 p.a. pro rata or HSO Grade 2 $125,255 - $147,261 p.a. pro rata

Location: Subiaco

Unit/Division: North Metropolitan Health Service - North Metropolitan Mental Health Service

Work Type: Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Part Time

The North Metropolitan Eating Disorders Specialist Service (NMEDSS) is an intensive community mental health setting operating within a stepped care framework for eating disorders treatment. Consumers may be stepping down from hospital treatment or stepping up from primary care for their eating disorder. The service provides a comprehensive day program, specialist multi-disciplinary outpatient clinics, intensive clinical monitoring, and care transition and coordination between services.

This is a Permanent Part Time or Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 30.4 hours per fortnight. Fixed Term appointments include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.


What is our Clinical Psychologist role?

The successful applicant will perform a clinical, consultant, education, and research psychology service within a multidisciplinary eating disorders treatment context, working with both NMEDSS consumers and their families in group or individual settings. Grade 1 Clinical Psychologist Registrars are required to work under the supervision of an approved Clinical Psychologist.

Eligibility to Apply:

Progression:

Appointees may progress to Clinical Psychologist Grade 2 upon successful completion of supervised practice and endorsement by the Psychology Board of Australia.
