Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing technical and operational decisions, providing support, leadership, and advice to staff members and apprentices as required.
You will also be required to work safely and operate various horticultural equipment in the maintenance and upkeep of parks and gardens.
The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality maintenance activities of parks, reserves, and streetscapes within the City.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Sound communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work in accordance with WHS and industry obligations
* Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment or able to work alone under direction
* Experience in the maintenance and safe operation of various parks and gardens related plant and equipment
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing and maintaining work programs
2. Preparing maintenance schedules
3. Landscaping, garden refurbishment, pruning, litter removal, fertilizing, mowing, mulching, and general garden/turf maintenance
4. Working safely and operating various horticultural equipment

* 'C' Class driver's licence
* WHS General Induction for Construction (White Card)
