- Salary - $75000 base superannuation salary packaging
- Hybrid working arrangement - 2x days in our Bowen Hills Group Office QLD, 3x days WFH every week
- This is a fixed term contract until 1 September 2026 with opportunity for permanency subject to review

Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Team Leader will be responsible for providing full accounts partnering services to St Vincents Care to ensure a well‑supported accounts team function. You will primarily focus on supporting the Accounts Receivable team. To be successful you will require knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and previous experience with accounting software packages is desirable; training in these systems can be provided.

This is a Fixed Term Full Time contract until 1 September 2026 with the opportunity for permanency subject to review. The role will work within a hybrid model which includes 3 days working from home and 2 days from our Bowen Hills office each week to ensure a healthy work life balance.

Key responsibilities of the role

- Lead and mentor the accounts receivable team, delegating tasks, monitoring performance and backfilling accounts officers when needed
- Handle escalated billing inquiries from residents and their families while ensuring strong relationships and effective communication with staff
- Ensure adherence to aged care regulations, update and improve accounts receivable processes, and develop comprehensive policy and procedure guides
- Oversee the preparation and management of invoices for residents ensuring they comply with aged care standards
- Support the accounts team with payment statement reconciliation and assist with community‑related billing events and processes
