About the role
Reporting to the Executive Lead for Corporate Services, you will play a pivotal role in providing planning, budgeting, and accounting expertise, with a focus on stewardship of the business's assets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Focus on accounting for assets and budget preparation for the business, particularly the
retirement living business stream.
· Coordinate and maintain financial accounts, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliation.
· Participate in monthly financial accounting, management reporting, and analysis.
· Contribute to the ongoing design and continuous improvement of organisational transactional and accounting processes.
· Provide advice, guidance, and direction on accounting-related matters.
· Support organisational finance functions, including financial modeling and project monitoring.

Your experience, expertise and qualifications
· Degree qualified in business, finance, or accounting.
· Ideally 7+ years (a minimum of 3 will be considered) of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting & analysis, external audits, and budgeting & forecasting.
· CA or CPA status.
· Advanced Excel skills and exposure to complex ERP and reporting systems.
· Power BI / Data warehousing business intelligence desirable.
· Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication from operational to executive levels.
