About The Role
In this fixed term position for 12 months as Internal Communications Lead at City of Palmerston, you'll be at the heart of keeping our people connected, informed, and inspired. You'll shape and deliver a dynamic Internal Communications Framework, lead creative campaigns, and manage platforms that bring Council's vision, values, and priorities to life.
Partnering with HR and leaders, you'll drive change initiatives, sensitive communications, surveys, and engagement programs. From newsletters and digital content to staff events and wellbeing initiatives, your work will strengthen culture, build trust, and elevate the employee experience.

About You
You're a dynamic, creative communicator with qualifications in communications, HR, marketing, or engagement, ready to make an impact.
You thrive on connecting people, shaping culture, and driving change through innovative internal communications. With exceptional interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and resilience, you excel at influencing, engaging, and inspiring teams across an organisation.
You bring proven experience developing frameworks, campaigns, and tools that turn strategy into action, translating insights into meaningful outcomes. Highly organised and adaptable, you thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering engaging content, fostering collaboration, and helping a people-focused organisation achieve its vision.
