Offer description

#GreatMindsDon'tThinkAlike At Uber, we take pride in our diversity and working environment that sees you as more than just a person that can do the job, but a unique individual that can level up our organization with a perspective only you can offer. Uber provides a truly open culture that encourages all to voice their thoughts.

**About The Team**:
UberEats has been a market leader in Online Food Delivery for the past five years. While there are many Aussies and Kiwis that have ordered a meal through us, there are many others who could benefit from our products and services. #GoGetIt embodies the attitude and mindset of Delivery at Uber. We provide the best customer experience possible for our consumers, as well as facilitating growth and earnings for our merchants and drivers.

**About The Role**:
The New Verticals Team is accountable for piloting, launching and scaling Uber Eats' new categories, including Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and more. As part of the team's continued push into non-restaurant categories, Uber Eats is looking for an outstanding individual to grow our consumer adoption of these new categories.

This role will be responsible for driving consumer adoption, engagement and retention for both new and existing categories within our retail portfolio. The business is still at a very early stage, with an ambitious growth target. This role will play a key part in our growth journey, building and scaling initiatives that are crucial to the success of the business.

The online grocery market alone is worth $6b AUD in Australia (vs $113b total grocery industry), and growing quickly as consumers are increasingly embracing online and in-app shopping. This role will be at the forefront of helping us to capture these types of opportunities and build the foundations for our future business.

**Your Impact in Role**:

- Design and build lifecycle campaigns to drive consumer growth at scale
- Launch tactical campaigns to hit business targets, including supporting our enterprise retail partners and brand marketing campaigns
- Build and manage the investment strategy for a large promotions budget
- Utilise data and insights to inform consumer acquisition and retention, while ensuring that the budget and plan for consumer incentives (e.g. promos) is met and spend efficiency is optimised

**The Experience You'll Bring**:

- A proven track record: You'll have relevant experience in a fast paced environment, ideally with start-up, consulting, advertising, CRM, or growth hacking experience.
- A self-starter who's comfortable with changes: Growth from 0 to 1 isn't easy, and there isn't an existing plan for you to follow. You are able to manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy, and be comfortable with short-term priority shifts.
- A continuous improvement mentality: The new business is at an early stage and most processes are not built or set in stone. You are able to find ways to get things done better and faster, and scale it.
- Solid analytical skills and data savvy: You can develop meaningful insights from complex data, and utilise the insights to drive consumer growth decisions. SQL knowledge is preferred. Being hands on with the tools will be crucial to your success in this role.
