Your Role as a High-Voltage Technical Training Specialist As a Technical Training Specialist, you’ll play a crucial part in developing the expertise of Mercedes-Benz Technicians. Through the delivery of dynamic and interactive Face-to-Face and Virtual Classroom training sessions, you will ensure that Technicians possess the essential skills and knowledge needed to service and repair Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Your responsibilities go beyond traditional teaching, you will be at the forefront, driving automotive service excellence across Australia and New Zealand and inspiring a genuine passion for High-Voltage vehicle technology in every Learner. Key Duties & Responsibilities: · Prepare and deliver engaging Face-to-Face and Virtual Classroom training, with a primary focus on High-Voltage systems, vehicle electronics, safety protocols, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Additionally, this role will support Internal Combustion engine training, when/if required. · Review and adapt training materials to suit the needs of the Australian/New Zealand market, ensuring compliance with the latest safety standards. · Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Training Centre, ensuring all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements are met. · Participate in Train-the-Trainer events to continuously improve your skills and knowledge. · Advise Retailers and Internal Staff on relevant High-Voltage knowledge and developments in the automotive space. · Maintain Training Academy tooling, fleet, and equipment to ensure a high-quality training experience for learners. · Provide assistance to the wider Training Academy team as needed. · This role has a requirement for occasional domestic and international travel. What You Will Need to Be Successful: · A relevant automotive trade qualification and proven experience working with different automotive vehicle systems (e.g., hybrid, electric vehicles, internal combustion engine). · Demonstrated history of classroom-based training delivery, ideally with a focus on High-Voltage or advanced automotive technologies. · Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz products and High-Voltage platforms is strongly desirable. · A strong drive for personal growth and learning. · Excellent organizational and time management abilities to thrive in a dynamic environment. · Outstanding communication skills and sound decision-making capabilities. · Ability to work independently with the support of your team. · Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems. · Embrace flexibility, agility, and adaptability.
