About the Role
Covetrus is a global animal health technology and services company dedicated to advancing the world of veterinary medicine. We are seeking a passionate animal health Business Account Manager to join our sales team on a permanent basis and support an assigned territory across Western VIC.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a salesperson with a strong business consultant approach to partner with veterinarians and clinic owners across a diverse range of high quality existing and new products and services supporting the animal health industry.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Analysing relevant sales information and market data to identify potential business growth.
2. Developing mutually beneficial business relationships with potential customers, creating success through presentations that demonstrate our value proposition.
3. Supporting our existing customers to maximise their business opportunities through genuine consultation to their business and identifying opportunities to engage with sales and marketing initiatives and our value-add services.
4. Providing an all-round excellent customer experience through regular contact with clients, strong follow through on requests and commitments, and working closely with other employees to ensure a seamless customer experience.
About You
To be successful you will have:
1. A proven track record of achieving sales growth through leveraging new and existing business.
2. A passion for the animal health industry coupled with the ability to understand data to drive better outcomes for our customers.
3. Demonstrated ability to build lasting, value-add relationships within the animal health and/or agriculture industry.
4. A current drivers license and the ability to travel as required.
5. Previous sales experience in the veterinarian or agriculture industry (preferred).
6. Bachelor degree qualifications in agriculture, animal sciences, business or similar (desired).
7. Living in Western Vic (e.g. Geelong or Ballarat) preferred.
