About the Role
Accounts Receivable Officer in Cheltenham, Victoria. Responsible for day‐to‐day administration and control of company receivables, ensuring accurate processing and timely collections in line with company policy.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the end‐to‐end Accounts Receivable function.
* Contacting customers and maintaining accurate collection notes.
* Implementing proactive collection strategies to minimise doubtful debt.
* Processing daily banking receipts and reconciling accounts.
* Conducting credit checks and assessing new customer applications.
* Investigating and resolving claims or disputes with internal teams.
* Assisting with month‐end tasks, audits, and ad‐hoc finance duties.
About You
You're a motivated finance professional who enjoys balancing accuracy with relationship‐building. You take ownership of your work, communicate confidently, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
What you'll bring
* 1–2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.
* Strong reconciliation and dispute resolution skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft AX Dynamics or similar ERP system.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* A friendly yet assertive approach when engaging with customers.
