The Role
We now have an exciting opportunity for a self-starter to join us as we grow our existing client base throughout Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.
The position is essentially to oversee and manage all aspects of our Hydraulics Workshop and Service operations, including our '1300 Hose Guys' mobile hydraulic hose service and repair activities in Toowoomba.
Main Duties
* Manage all aspects of our Hydraulics Workshop & Mobile Hose Van Services
* Handle Counter and Phone enquiries as required
* Provide Technical support for Retail & Trade Customers, and Distributors
* Support our existing Mobile Hydraulics Hose Van distributors
* Identify Business Development opportunities and liaise with the Hydraulics Sales Manager
You will need proven experience in the repair and maintenance of Hydraulic pump and motor rebuilding experience along with hydraulic cylinders and other various components.
You will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers. Working for a local family business with an exemplary reputation, you will become a passionate and energetic team member, and be 'the face' of our Hydraulics Workshop operation.
Experience in the hydraulic industry along with a good attitude, attention to detail, and computer aptitude, are pre-requisites for this position.
Ideally, you need to have:-
* Equivalent Trade qualifications
* Drivers licence
* Experience in stripping, rebuilding, quoting of hydraulic cylinders for rebuilding and/or re-manufacturing
* A clear understanding of hydraulic seal tolerances and clearances
* Ability to use manual lathe, mill, hone, hydraulic strip bench and testing equipment
* Ability to weld hydraulic cylinders
* Ability to lead a productive team to reach set KPIs and tight deadlines
* Ability to work over time and some Saturdays when needed to meet client deadlines
* Have a client centric mindset and be able to communicate to clients and the team in a professional manner
* Post Trade qualifications in Fluid Power
