Job Title: Assistant Parts Manager


Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Parts Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the success of our Parts Department, ensuring smooth inventory management, exceptional customer experiences, and efficient team coordination.

About the Role:

You will report directly to the Fixed Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Parts Department. This includes managing inventory control, ordering, and receiving parts, as well as maintaining organized and efficient parts storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Fixed Operations Manager in managing the Parts Department, including inventory control, ordering, and receiving parts.
* Evaluate and improve processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of parts orders and deliveries.
* Maintain organized and efficient parts storage areas, adhering to safety regulations and dealership policies.
* Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and technicians with parts inquiries and orders.
* Monitor and manage department performance metrics, including inventory turnover and customer satisfaction.
* Develop and implement parts department policies and procedures.
* Foster new customer relationships and drive parts sales growth.
* Support the training and development of department staff.

* Proven experience in parts management or a related field, preferably in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Able to lead and mentor a team, with proficiency in inventory management systems.
* A results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets.
